Chris Morris has specialized in the benefits field since 1981. He started his career working in the group department of three large insurance companies, Metropolitan Life, Crown Life and Blue Cross. He worked in numerous positions in underwriting and sales over a 15 year period. This involved designing benefit plans, pricing benefit plans, selling group benefits and fulfilling the needs and demands of the clients. During this period, he serviced company benefit plans ranging in size from 2 employees up to 10,000 employees across Canada.
In 1996, Chris Morris left the employment of the insurance companies to start the group underwriting and brokerage firm, Morris Financial Services Ltd., in Calgary, Alberta.
Since 1996, Morris Financial Services Ltd. has specialized in underwriting, service and consultation of group benefits, group RRSP’s and Health Care Spending Accounts.
